"Japan as a cultural platform"

On 27th June, from 15:30, Professor Kyoko Nakayama gave a lecture on "Japan as a Cultural Platform". She emphasized the importance of holding internationally high-level festivals for the purpose of cultural exchange in Japan in order to secure a position in the international community, such as laying the foundation for diplomacy, education, and peace. Many festivals and arts in Venice were introduced which began in the 18th century,  and also pointed out that Japan should be as a country of open culture.
