Request for Submission of Academic Paper

About Journal

“Asia Ethno-forms Association” is a cooperative society of the Science Council of Japan, and research papers published in the academic journals are highly evaluated. The academic journal is published once a year, and most of its contents are (1) academic research paper, (2) research notes and (3) others submitted by association members. Academic papers shall be reviewed by the peer review committee. There are no special provisions for research notes.

About Journal Publication

As a general publishing rule, only members of the association can publish their papers in the journal. Please prepare your paper according to the following guidelines.

  • Academic papers must have a clear research purpose.

  • The number of sheets should be 30 or less (A4 size 10 pages) including the abstract and figures according to the manuscript,

  • The manuscript should be in Japanese or English, with a summary of English (about 150 words) or Japanese (up to 400 characters).

  • Do not include figures / tables / photos in the manuscript, just write down the number and title and create a separate file for figures / tables / photos.

  • Save English or Japanese abstract, manuscript (including literature), figures / tables / photos, and author contact information (1. name, 2. zip code & address, 3. e-mail address and 4. telephone) in one folder. Then, submit hard and soft copy to the secretariat of the association.

  • The deadline for submitting manuscripts is extended up to the end of Jan.

執筆要領

１．原稿は日本語または英語とし横書きでWordで作成する。ただし、注記などでは他の言語を使用できる。図表はExcleで作成できる。

２．論文の構成

  • 原則として3～4つぐらいの節に分け、小見出しをつける

  • 第1節の前に必ず半ページ程度の「はじめに」を付け、問題意識、目的、主な論点などを述べる。「おわりに」はなくてもよい。

  • 各章の構成は原則として節、項までとし、それ以下の見出しはなるべく付けない。

３．注と参考文献を付ける。注は文末注とする。ワードなどの注作成機能を利用してもよい。番号は該当箇所の右肩に付す。

４．参考文献は注に含めず独立させ、注とともに各章末に載せる。文献表記は、以下のように統一する。

インターネットからダウンロードした資料は参考文献に記載する。著者、タイトル、発行地、発行年などの記載方法は通常の論文と同様であり、ダウンロードした日付、アドレスを併せて記載する。

５．引用または参照した文献を注に表す場合は、田畑（2003）113－114頁、あるいは  Buri, JR（1991）pp.177-178のように書き頁を付すこと。

６．図表・写真の番号は各章ごとに統一し、図表の上に見出しを付ける。

７．図表写真の出所を明記する。自分で作成あるいは撮影した場合執筆者が作成、執筆者が撮影とする。

８．数字はアラビア数字を原則とし、4桁表記以上になる場合は，をいれる（例3,300）。古典や文献資料はこの限りではない。億、兆などの漢字を使うことができる。分数は1/2とせず、2分の1とする。

９．西暦を原則とする。ただし、必要に応じ、元号を括弧付きで記してもよい。

１０．略語を用いる場合、あまり一般的でないものは最初に正式名を付記する。

１１．文体は「である」調とし、論理的で判りやすい表現を心がける。

１２．執筆者名をタイトル右側に明記する。

１３．不明な点については随時事務局と相談すること。
